‘Remember Together’ run on behalf of the Department for Communities and Local Government

There are just 11 weeks to go to apply for community funding for the Passchendaele at Home and The Unremembered projects. Partnership with Special Olympics GB

For over 25 years Lions Clubs International – MD105, has proudly supported Special Olympics GB by giving donations, fundraising for athletes selected for international competitions and providing volunteers to help run key events.  In that time, over £600,000 has been raised for the charity. Lions Day with United Nations – Tuesday, 13th March 2018

Dear Fellow Lions, next year’s Lions Day with the United Nations will be held on Tuesday, 13th March 2018 in Committee Room 14 of the House of Commons, commencing at 4.00pm. The District allocation is 10 Tickets available on a first come first served basis. Those wishing to attend, please contact your District Governor or District International Relations Officer.

One Life, One Shot: Lions Measles Initiative

LCIF has committed to raising US$30 million by 2017 to improve access to vaccines through Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance. The funds raised will be matched by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, bringing the total to US$60 million. Pledge your support by sending donations either through your District LCIF Coordinator or your District Treasurer/Charities Treasurer.  Please place ‘LCIF – Measles Initiative’ on the reverse of cheques.  Thank you.
