The PR team are subsidising boxes of the new #LionsGetInvolved, so that for each box ordered you will only pay £5 up until the end of August 2017 (whilst stocks last). Any orders received after this date will be charged £15 per box. This resource is to help Lions clubs to promote who Lions are and what Lions do within your own community. There are 38 copies of the report in each box. If you would like a box of #LionsGetInvolved please drop a line to either the team at MDHQ on email@example.com or to Mandy with your full address and postcode to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will despatch them to you with an invoice.

As you are aware Ireland are sadly leaving Lions Clubs MD 105 to form a new district on the 1st July this year. With this in mind the PR & Marketing Team are seeking your ideas to form a new and vibrant logo to represent Lions Clubs MD 105, for the future. Could you send in your creative ideas/designs, which could be a photograph, an illustration or a sketch to Lions MDHQ via email@example.com or post to Lions Clubs MD 105 Headquarters, 257 Alcester Road South, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 6DT. The closing date for the competition has been extended to Friday, 24 March 2017 and depending upon the number of entries received, a final selection (chosen by non Lions) will be submit to Convention for the Lions members to vote on. The winner will be announced at the Lions MD 105 Convention in Blackpool.

Appeals requiring support for Volunteers and funding
Lions Clubs across the British Isles and Ireland have two national disability sporting partnerships, which support young people with intellectual as well as physical disabilities to be able to share a positive experience by competing at regional and national levels in sports. These organisations are the English Federation of Disability Sport and Special Olympics Great Britain. Both organisations need volunteer support from Lions members as well as financial support. MedicAlert is pleased to announce that Lions Clubs across the British Isles and Ireland are taking on a fundraising challenge throughout 2017 to support the charity’s ‘Early Start Programme’ and sponsor 100 children. Each Lions Club is aiming to raise £295 which could provide one child from birth to 10 years old, with a place on the scheme. Ten individuals are running for the Lions Centennial in the London Marathon with ‘Team Lions’ for the Lions Clubs Foundation. All proceeds are being donated to a special Blind Veterans UK project, supporting homeless, sight-impaired and limbless service personnel. To pledge your support, please send cheques made out to The Lions Clubs Foundation with ‘London Marathon’ on the reverse and post to Lion Tom Berry, the MD Charities Treasurer.
