Please be advised that we (Lions Clubs of the British Isles) will never ask anyone seeking a grant from Lions Clubs International or from any Lions Club to make any payment to secure a Lions grant.

Anyone contacting you on the telephone, by letter or online and offering a Lions grant in exchange for a fee or advance payment to secure a Lions grant is doing so fraudulently, and you should not proceed with the matter.

LIBRA – Lions International Blood Research Appeal

Lions International Blood Research Appeal is pleased to announce the launch of Going for Gold Campaign with a target of £300,000 to be raised by the end of 2024.

Funds will help to cover the costs of specialist equipment required for a planned King’s Health Partners Haematology Institute.

The LIBRA funded equipment will be housed in the new institute, located at King’s College Hospital (KCH) in London.  It will be used by world-renowned haematology experts at KCH and their partners to diagnose, treat patients and create new lifesaving blood cancer therapies.
