LIBRA – Lions International Blood Research Appeal

Lions International Blood Research Appeal is pleased to announce the launch of Going for Gold Campaign with a target of £300,000 to be raised by the end of 2024.

Funds will help to cover the costs of specialist equipment required for a planned King’s Health Partners Haematology Institute.

The LIBRA funded equipment will be housed in the new institute, located at King’s College Hospital (KCH) in London.  It will be used by world-renowned haematology experts at KCH and their partners to diagnose, treat patients and create new lifesaving blood cancer therapies.

DG Lion Stewart Sherman Kahn elected to be Council Chairman 2019 2020

We are delighted to announce that the incoming Council of Governors for 2019-20 have elected DG Lion Stewart Sherman Kahn from District 105M to be their Council Chairman.  A member of the 2018-19  Council of Governors, Stewart brings his strong leadership and organisational skills to the role of Council Chairman. Stewart is a member of the Birmingham Chinatown Lions Club.

We wish Stewart an enjoyable and successful year working with the incoming Council.
