Enjoy the ride
Cycling days out are popular in all parts of the British Isles. They can focus on family fun or appeal to those looking to ride with others via organised events. Some do both.
See the Summer 2023 edition of LION magazine (pages 8-9) for an article featuring cycling events organised by three Lions clubs:
- Boroughbridge 98 Lions annual family bike ride,
- North-Bucks bike ride run by Lions of Winslow with Winslow Wheelers Cycle Club and Furze Down School,
- Stowmarket Lions Sportive Lion Rid.
An interview providing tips and advice from Lions clubs involved in charity cycling events will be included in the September episode of the Step Forward & Volunteer podcast.
